    The primary purpose of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists is consumer protection.  The Board accomplishes this purpose by establishing licensing requirements that include minimum standards for education, experience and passage of a national examination; establishing a Code of Ethics for licensed professional counselors and licensed marriage and family therapists; requiring continuing education; and investigating and resolving complaints.

Renew licenses or internships online

When your renewal time approaches, the Board will send you a renewal letter that explains the process.  Please sign into the renewal system by entering your last name, license/intern number and the last four digits of your social security number.  You may pay your renewal fee online using your VISA or Mastercard.
