A project began in June 2015 to remove rust and repair & repaint the Tualatin River Bridge on OR99W in the southbound direction only. The bridge is located between King City and Tualatin.
The OR 99W Tualatin River Bridge was built in 1929. Recent bridge inspections discovered rust between the gusset plates and steel members. A weight limit on the bridge is currently posted but will be lifted after the project is complete.
Other project elements include disposing of the lead paint using a containment platform.
