Interstate 84 Westbound near NE 223rd Fairview Avenue
Project Description: This project will install a new electronic variable message sign on I-84 westbound near N.E. 223rd/Fairview Parkway in Fairview.
Traffic Impacts:  No traffic impacts. Project is complete.
I-84 Troutdale Interchange at Exit 17
Project Description:  The project will widen Marine Drive between the two frontage roads to allow for two-way traffic. It will also replace the existing I-84 overpass bridges at Marine Drive with a new bridge. The Marine Drive intersections at the Frontage Roads will also be improved.
Traffic Impacts: Traffic on North Frontage Road may be shifted into the lanes approximately 4 feet to the south as it approaches Marine Drive. No closures are expected.
Interstate 84 at the Sandy River and Jordan Road Bridges
Project Description: This project replaces two bridges on I-84 over the Sandy River east of exit 17 in Troutdale, and repairs two bridges over Jordan Road east of the Sandy River at exit 18.
Traffic Impacts:  The speed limit is reduced to 50 mph in both directions on I-84 over the Sandy River and over Jordan Road east of the Sandy River. Westbound traffic has shifted to the permanent alignment. Watch for roadside construction crews. Watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the travel lanes and ramps. Please drive carefully through the work zone.
Watch for brief delays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. while traffic is controlled by flaggers on Jordan Road at I-84. Watch for pedestrians, roadside work crews and construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway. The vertical clearance on Jordan Road under the overpass has been reduced to 14 feet, 9 inches. Please obey parking restrictions.
Sandy River users can expect work crews near and over the waterway. Approach the work area with caution, stay clear of construction activities and obey instructions from flaggers.
