I-205 Multi-Use Path Greening Project - Profiles
ODOT's partnership with Friends of Trees and Metro to green the I-205 Multi-Use Path is bringing people together from many different communities, all with the goal of enhancing the path and making it a more user-friendly facility.  From underserved youth to elected officials to east Portland residents, many people are taking part in this unique project.
Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center Trainees
As part of the greening project, 16 Urban Renewal Area-funded jobs have been created for Portland OIC trainees through a partnership between the Portland Deveopment Commission and Worksystems, Inc.  Portland OIC is a non-profit organization that serves youth who are affected by poverty, family instability or homelessness with support necessary to engage in school and training.  Read more about these inspiring young men and women by clicking on the links below.

East Portland Residents
Residents from all over Portland - and especially East Portland - are doing their part to enhance communities through which the I-205 Multi-Use Path runs by taking part in our I-205 Multi-Use Path planntings.  East Portland Action Plan members have also been very involved by participating in plantings and advocating for funding to make other improvements to the path.  Check out some of the East Portland folks who are making a difference by contributing to the project.
