Oregon Highway 224 Rock Creek to Deep Creek Paving
Introduction
A contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation will re-pave and re-stripe nearly a six-mile section of Oregon Highway 224 between Rock Creek Junction (the intersection at Oregon Highway 212) and the Deep Creek Bridge.

Schedule

Paving is planned to begin Thursday, June 21. Work is expected to wrap up in late July weather permitting. The contractor originally expected to start paving in early June but was delayed due to wet weather.

 

Traffic Impacts

  
Paving work will take place at night from when traffic volumes are lower on OR 224. During the paving work, pilot cars will escort drivers through the work zone. Drivers should expect 20-minute delays during the paving and striping work. 
 

Lane closures are allowed to take place during the following hours:

Monday through Friday: 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Saturay and Sunday: 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. 
 

Nighttime Noise

Nighttime construction noise may be audible to residents along the project corridor. However, noise levels dissipate as distance from the source increases.
