For more information contact Julianne Repman (541) 388-6224

Oregon Department of Transportation maintenance crews will remove 16 trees located adjacent to US 97, south of the Sunriver/South Century Drive Intersection, between 9am and 4pm, Monday, April 11 – Friday, April 15. During tree falling operations, crews will intermittently close travel lanes on US 97 near mile point 153. Motorists can expect delays of up to ten minutes when traveling through this work zone.

Crews are removing the trees as part of a safety improvement project. Once the trees are removed, crews plan to remove guardrail in the area and widen the highway shoulders.

Motorists are advised to use caution, look for flaggers, reduce speeds and be aware of workers when traveling through the work zone.
