Expect congestion and delays at Empire Avenue and Boyd Acres Road
Due to the scheduled closure of Cooley Road in Bend, the intersection of Empire Avenue and Boyd Acres Road is heavily congested at this time. The backup is affecting traffic on the north end of the Bend Parkway. Motorists are asked to slow down, be patient and find alternate routes, if possible.
Cooley Road was closed today to allow BNSF Railways to repair a broken rail. The road is expected to reopen around 6 tonight.
