Crash Closes US 97 South of Madras
Motorists advised to use posted detour route through Culver
US 97 is closed in both directions, south of Madras, as emergency personnel respond to a vehicle crash.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour route to avoid the crash scene.
The posted detour route is as follows:
Southbound US97 to SW Colfax Lane
SW Colfax Lane to the Culver Highway (Hwy. 361)
South on the Culver Highway to US97
Northbound US97 to SW Dover Lane
SW Dover Lane to the Culver Highway (Hwy. 361)
North on the Culver Highway to SW Colfax Lane
SW Colfax Lane to US97
The highway is expected to reopen to traffic this afternoon.
