The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the City of Bend prepared a refinement plan for the south end of the Parkway between Powers Road and the Baker Road interchange.
The plan’s purpose is to remove the last three signals on the Parkway (Powers Road, Pinebrook, and South Third) while accommodating east-west connectivity.
An overview of the refinement planning goals and accomplishments presented in 2002 is available here.
Schematics of the four proposed alternatives are available here.
After ODOT and the City completed the refinement plan, an Interchange Area Management Plan (IAMP) was developed (vicinity map).
