Traffic Impact
This project will impact traffic patterns on OR 99 and I-5.
The contractor has provided a pedestrian transport vehicle (PTV) that can accommodate at least 2 ADA passengers and a maximum of 10 able-bodied pedestrians during the closure as well as transport up to 3 bicycles with a secured rack.
Construction Impacts
Construction continues on the bridges. Beginning on May 14, 2024 for approxmiately 3 to 5 days Birdseye Creek bridge will have a FULL CLOSURE while the contractor conducts pile driving and foundation work. Please use an alternate route during the closure.
There will be flaggers and delays up to 20 minutes at Birdseye Creek from May 2024 - June 2024.
The longer FULL CLOSURE at Birdseye Creek Bridge is scheduled for the middle of June 2024 for approximately 30 days.
Travelers should watch for construction signs and detours and use an alternate route during closures.
