No one should suffer the life-threatening and debilitating consequences of viral hepatitis. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) believes in a future where hepatitis infections are successfully prevented and every person living with chronic hepatitis receives high-quality healthcare and lives their lives free from discrimination and stigma.
Elimination of viral hepatitis is possible. Elimination depends on preventing new infections, improving health outcomes of people diagnosed with hepatitis, reducing stigma and barriers to culturally and linguistically appropriate services, generating hepatitis data that can inform policy decisions and that are available to key partners including the public.
