What We Do

We facilitate the Employment Department's legislative efforts, in support of the agency's mission and guiding principles, to provide economic stability and success for all Oregonians.

The Legislative Affairs team serves as the primary conduit of information for proposed legislation between the agency and legislators, committee staff, and legislative staff.We work with legislative offices to assist with inquiries on a variety of topics that involve the department, and impact workers and/or employers.
