Veterans' Services

Are you a veteran interested in a career in the trades?

The Apprenticeship and Training Division is here to help! Apprenticeship programs give you paid, on-the-job training to gain skills and get a job as a carpenter, electrician, welder, roofer, or many other trades. Many of our registered apprenticeship programs work with the Department Veteran's Affairs to provide veteran apprentices the opportunity for to use their GI Bill benefits.

Our Veterans Outreach Coordinator provides career counseling, technical assistance, representation, and advocacy for all veterans and members of the Oregon National Guard and Reserve components of the armed forces seeking to be apprentices in the trades.
