Compass Project (completed in 2026)

What was the Compass Project?

The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) started the Compass Project before the pandemic. Our goal was to make it easier for people to get, use and understand intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) services. 

  • The project refocused ODDS on what each person needs to have a full life. We want people to have a good life in their communities.
  • The last part of the project was the in-home hours transition. For people who use in-home hours, a change happened during the Individual Support Plan process in 2025-2026.
