Visiting Rules

Introduction

To view the special guidance for visiting during COVID-19 at your loved one's institution, please see below. All visitors should also review the general visiting guidelines and dress code to ensure processing does not take time away from their visit. 

ATTENTION: 
All visitors must ensure they are on the adult in custody's approved visitors list before scheduling an in-person visit. While the online system allows for scheduling regardless of visitor status, the visit will be denied at the institution if the visitor is not approved. Check with your incarcerated loved one to ensure your visiting status is up to date.


General Information
  • If you are not feeling well, please do not come to Coffee Creek.
  • Visitors are expected to maintain six feet of distance between themselves, other visitors, staff, and AICs. Dots have placed in the visiting and waiting areas; please ensure you adhere to all signage, including dots.
  • Visitors MUST be on the AICs approved visitors list before scheduling a visit or the visit will be denied at the institution. 
  • Visitors should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of their schedule visit.
  • Visitors and AICs are required to wear a cloth face covering throughout the visit.​
  • Physical contact between visitors and AICs is prohibited and social distancing will be enforced.
  • Visitors can purchase drinks from the vending machines Visitors and AICs can lower their masks to take a drink, after which masks must be returned to a position covering the nose and mouth. If either the AIC or visitor has to be reminded to properly wear their mask, the visit may be terminated. Food is not available for purchase at this time.
  • Visitors and AICs are not permitted to visit with other AICs or visitors.
Prior to the Visit
All visitors will be temperature-screened via thermal scanner; anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees of or higher will be required to immediately leave the grounds.

All visitors will be screened for COVID-related symptoms:
  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
During Your Visit
  • Children’s play areas are closed.
  • A limited number of games and cards will be available; all items will be sanitized between visitors.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring in any items except required medications and necessities for babies.
At the Conclusion of the Visit
  • Visitors will line up to leave the visiting room; AICs will remain in their chairs.
  • Items placed in a locker prior to the visit must be collected prior to exiting the grounds.
  • Visitors are not allowed to loiter on facility premises and are expected to leave the facility and exit the grounds in a timely manner.
  • The visiting area and surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned before and between visiting sessions.
​To keep eeveryone​ safe during visiting, the following protocols have been established for ​CRCI visiting: ​
  • Visiting will occur on the regularly scheduled days beginning June 6, 2021. Daytime visiting session will run for 60 minutes, with 10 minutes between for proper sanitization. Visits should be scheduled in advance on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation.   • Visitors MUST be on the AICs approved visitors list before scheduling a visit or the visit will be denied at the institution. 
  • The Dining Hall will be sanitized prior to use, between each visiting period, and after visiting has concluded with an electrostatic sprayer. 
  • Each AIC will be allowed 3 visitors per visit regardless of age. i.e. 2 adults or 1 adult and one child. 
  • Each AIC will be limited to one visit per week. AICs may have 5 visits per week, as long as their points permit.
  • Once the visit is complete, the AIC will remain seated while visitors depart. Visitors will be processed out and exit the facility.
  • No objects will be brought into the facility unless necessary. Car key/etc. will be stored in lockers. After each visiting session, these lockers will be properly sanitized prior for the next visiting session. 
  • Vending machines WILL NOT be accessible to AICs or visitors.
  • Only vending items will be allowed. All items must be consumed during the visit. 
  • Photos will be available for $2.00 each and must go home with that visitor on that day. 
  • Card, board games, etc. are available at this time. 
  • A play area is available for young children to interact with their parent.  
  • Failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.
  • Restrooms will be closed to the AICs during visiting. If there is a need to utilize the facilities, the AIC will return to his designated housing unit and the visit will be terminated. Restrooms will be available for the visitors. Visitors are offered the restroom at the beginning of the visit only. 

​General visiting rules and guidelines for DRCI: ​
  • DRCI in person visits will occur Friday with 1 evening sessions, Saturdays and Sundays with 3 sessions throughout each day. 
  • All visits must be pre-scheduled. Scheduling is now available on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation. For more information or assistance, follow the step-by-step instructions or contact ICS Corrections (888) 646-9437.
  • Visitors MUST be on the AICs approved visitors list before scheduling a visit or the visit will be denied at the institution. 
  • Each AIC will be allowed 3 visitors per visit.
  • Special visit requests need to be made through the AICs Correctional Counselor. 
  • DRCI cannot account for visiting delays (such as a visitor not having ID, wearing metal, etc.) or delays in retrieving AICs.
  • Visiting hours will be:
  • Friday 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • Sat/Sun/Holidays: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • AIC's can currently only have one visit per day.  ​
  • Visits are back to normal contact standards: limited physical contact, consisting of a brief embrace and kiss upon meeting and leaving, hand holding, and holding of children. 
  • AICs in quarantine or isolation will not participate in visiting. 
  • DRCI offers 19 visiting slots per session.  
  • Both AICs and visitors have the option to wear face coverings. 
  • Once the visit is complete, the AIC will remain seated while visitors depart.  Visitors will be processed out and exit the facility. 
  • No objects will be brought into the facility unless necessary, i.e. ID, car keys, necessary personal medicines.
  • Outside area will be open for families with children. 
  • Tables, chairs and other high-touch surfaces will be disinfected between visitation groups; all areas, to include lobbies and restrooms, will be cleaned following the completion of visiting each day.
  • Vending machines are available. Products must be purchased by visitor. AIC may not approach the vending machines. 
  • Failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.
  • Restrooms will be available for the visitors during their scheduled session and will be sanitized between uses.

EOCI in person visits will occur Wednesday - Friday from 8:30-11:15 am and 1:00-3:45pm.
  • Visitors will need to schedule with the receptionist at EOCI 3 days prior to the requested session. The receptionist is available Monday – Friday 7:30a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Call 541-276-0700.  
  • Visitors MUST be on the AICs approved visitors list before scheduling a visit or the visit will be denied at the institution. 
  • Please note any required accommodations in the notes section when scheduling a visit.
  • Visiting sessions will be approximately 2 hourd and 45 minutes long. EOCI cannot account for visiting delays (such as a visitor not having ID, wearing metal, not being current on their visiting status, etc.) or delays in AICs reporting to the visit. Once you are inside for the visit, you may leave at any time, but will not be allowed re-entry.
  • The number of visits approved in any calendar month for AICs will be in accordance with the point value system.  Each AIC who is permitted visiting (privileged or basic) shall be allocated visiting points each calendar month in accordance with their incentive level.
  • Visitors will not be admitted into the facility until 10 minutes before their scheduled visit. (Please plan accordingly to park and walk to the entrance of the facility 10 minutes prior to being admitted.)  Entrance into the visiting room will be determined by when you originally signed up for visiting, not first come first serve the day of your visit.​

Day of Visit
  • Visitors will not be allowed access into the institution prior to 10 minutes before the scheduled visit.  Please plan your visit accordingly to park, walk to the entrance of the facility, and utilize the handwashing station prior to being admitted.
  • Once access has been granted visitors will report to the Reception Desk.  The Receptionist will confirm the identity of the visitors and process the visit in the ODOC system.
  • Visitors will have a hand stamp and provided with a locker key to secure their personal property.  Visitors are encouraged to leave as many personal belongings as possible in their car and to only bring identification and keys into the institution.
  • After screening, identification and storing of property is completed, visitors will be called for their visit.  Visitors will be required to pass through a metal detector prior to being escorted into the visiting room by Security staff.
  • Photos are available at this time and photo tickets must be purchased before going back for the visit.  Cost of each photo is $2.00.  
  • Toys, games, cards, and magazines will be accessible. The play area for children is also open at this time.  
  • Vending machines will be available pending the vendor stocking the vending machines.
  • Failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.​

​OSCI in person visits will occur Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed from 8:30-10:40 a.m. and 1:00-3:30 p.m.

Scheduling is no longer done through ICSolutions.

  • All privileged visits will be on a first come, first serve basis. A privileged visit is defined as a type of visitation authorized by the Department of Corrections in its correctional facilities in which an AIC and an approved visitor are permitted to see and talk with each other on a scheduled basis for a reasonable period of time.
  • Visitors may not arrive on grounds before 7:15 am or 12:00 pm for visiting sessions effective Monday August 21, 2023. Visitors may not park on the ​highway on/off ramp shoulders, our avenue or under our “No Parking" signs. This creates a traffic hazard.
  • Once you have pulled a ticket and been directed to park on the OSCI grounds, please remain in the Visiting parking area or on the visiting benches in the 4th row until your number is called to come down for processing.  There is no loitering or smoking allowed. There is a porta potty in the 4th row parking lot available to use. Once called for your visit, please use the sidewalks and crosswalks.
  • If you need to leave the grounds prior to the start of visiting, you will need to pull a new ticket when you return.​ Failure to abide by this could result in the termination of your scheduled visit.
  • Once you have been directed to park on the OSCI grounds, please remain in the Visiting parking area until your number is called to come down for processing.​ ​
  • To schedule a BASIC visit (AIC in DSU), please contact Laura Ellison at 503-373-0173 at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance to schedule. Voicemail messages left at this number will not be considered a scheduled visit. A basic visit is defined as a type of visitation authorized by DOC in its correctional facilities in which an AIC and an approved visitor are permitted to see and talk with each other on a scheduled basis for a reasonable period of time with no physical contact behind glass. Basic visits can be scheduled for 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., or 2:30 p.m. (limited to 2 visitors per visit, 1-hour time slot, and once per week). 
  • Visitors MUST be on the AICs approved visitors list or the visit will be denied at the institution. 
  • Visit sessions will be approximately 2 hours long. OSCI cannot account for visiting delays (such as a visitor not wearing proper clothing, having ID, wearing metal, not being current on their visiting status, etc.) or delays in retrieving AICs. Once you are inside for the visit, you may leave at any time, but will not be allowed re-entry. 
  • Each AIC will be allowed 4 visitors and 1 lap child per visit.
  • AICs in isolation will not participate in visiting.

** Please note, failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.





General visiting rules and guidelines for OSP: 

  • Visitors may opt to pre-schedule or walk in on a first come-first served basis. Scheduling is available on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation. For more information or assistance, follow the step-by-step instructions or contact ICS Corrections (888) 646-9437.​ 
  • For visits that are pre-scheduled, AICs will be notified in advance to be ready for the visit. For walk-ins, there may be delays in locating AICs that are at work or involved in programs.​
  • Visitors must check in NO LATER than 15 minutes after their reserved time, or the space will be open for walk-ins.
  • Pre-scheduled visits may be scheduled two weeks in advance but no later than 72 hours in advance.​
  • Visitors MUST be on the AICs approved visitors list before scheduling a visit or the visit will be denied at the institution.
  • Visitors may visit for both sessions during the week but may only visit for one, either am or pm, on weekends or holidays.  
  • AICs and visitors are allowed a brief embrace at the beginning and the end of their visits. Excessive physical contact will be grounds for terminating the visit.
  • Visitors may purchase food or drinks items for him or herself or the AIC, but the adult in custody and they visitor may not share the same food or drink.
  • AICs are prohibited from handling monsy or tokens and from approaching or operating the vending machines.
  • A photographer is available to take photos that may be purchased by the AIC at a later date.
  • Games and toys are accessible.
  • A max of $20 in quarters will be allowed into visiting by the Visitor.
  • Tables, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces will be disinfected throughout the day.
  • Morning session – 7:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
  • Afternoon session – 12:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
​General visiting rules and guidelines for PRCF: 
  • Visitors should not schedule a visit if they are not an approved visitor.
  • Visiting will occur on the regularly scheduled days of Saturday and Sunday including federally recognized holidays. Visiting will only be open from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in the morning sessions, and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm in the afternoon sessions to allow time for proper sanitation.
  • All visits must be pre-scheduled. Scheduling is now available on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation. For more information or assistance, follow the step-by-step instructions or contact ICS Corrections (888) 646-9437.
  • No objects will be brought into the facility unless necessary. Car key/etc. will be ​​stored in lockers. After each visiting session, these lockers will be properly sanitized prior for the next visiting session. 
  • Visitor(s) are allowed to conduct a visit during any session with available time slots with a limit of three visitors per AIC per session. Visitors will be assigned to visiting tables to allow for contact tracing. 
  • Vending machines and coffee cart WILL NOT be accessible to AICs or visitors.
  • No food or drink will be allowed except for what can be purchased​ at the facility. 
  • Games and a play area for children will be available. 
  • Once the visit is complete, the AIC will remain seated while visitors depart. Visitors will be processed out and exit the facility.
  • Failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.
​General visiting rules and guidelines for SCI: 
  • Visiting: Thursday, Friday, and Monday 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sundays 2:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on a first come first serve basis.
  • SCI no longer requires visiting to be scheduled through ICSolutions. 
  • You will need to be listed as an approved visitor.
​SRCI in-person visits will occur Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun from 8:00-10:30 a.m. and 12:3​0-3:30 p.m. 

SRCM in-person visits will occur Sat/Sun from 8:00-10:40 a.m. and 1:00 -3:40 p.m.

SRCI Special Housing unit (DSU, IMU, and ASU) visits must be pre-scheduled with the Medium Facility Visiting Officer. Voicemails left on the Medium Visiting Center answering machine are NOT confirmation of a scheduled visit.

To keep everyone safe during visiting, the following protocols have been established: 
  • Visitors must be an approved visitor and any visitor 15 or older must have a valid photo ID. 
  • SRCI is NOT currently using the ICSolutions system to schedule in-person visits and all visits are first come first seated, with priority given to those who have traveled​​.
  • The SRCI Medium Visiting Center is closed on Monday and Tuesday of each week.
  • Visiting at SRCI Minimum is held on Saturdays, Sundays, and certain holidays only.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be provided at the entrance into the Visiting Center.
  • All visitors will be required to wash and or sanitize their hands to entering the Visiting Center
  • Visitors may be required to submit to a temperature check, screen tool/questionnaire to assess the individual’s risk of exposure to COVID-19 and the existence of any active symptoms of infection/illness prior to entering the Visiting Center.
  • Visitors who are unable to pass the required COVID-19 screening process, or who refuse to submit to the screening, will lose visitation privileges for the day and will be denied access into the Visiting Center. 
  • Visitors may be required to wear an approved face covering to enter visiting. Face coverings incorporating the use of a valve and/or are made of mesh fabric will not be allowed. 
  • Visitors without an approved mask may receive a disposable mask provided by the institution for use during their visits. Per CDC children under the age of 2 will not be required to wear masks. 
  • Contact during a visit: A handshake or a brief embrace at the beginning and the end of the visit is allowed. NO kissing allowed at this time.
  • Contact Tracing:  All visitors will be logged into the Contact Tracing Log by the Visiting Center Visitation Staff, to include their seat assignment.
General visiting rules and guidelines for SFFC: 
  • Visitors should not schedule a visit if they are not an approved visitor.
  • Visiting will occur on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Proper sanitization will occur prior to the start of visiting, between each visiting session, and after visiting has concluded.
  • All visits must be pre-scheduled. Scheduling is now available on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation. For more information or assistance, follow the step-by-step instructions or contact ICS Corrections (888) 646-9437.
  • No objects will be brought into the facility unless necessary.
  • Visitor(s) are only allowed to conduct a visit during one session only per day with a limit of four visitors per AIC.  
  • Once the visit is complete, the AIC will remain seated while visitors depart. Visitors will be processed out and exit the facility.
  • Failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.
To keep everyone safe during visiting, the following protocols have been established for TRCI: 
  • Visitors should not schedule a visit if they are not an approved visitor.
  • All visits must be pre-scheduled. The calendar will open two weeks at a time and will close three days prior to the visiting date (For example, if you want to visit on the 19th, you need to sign up by the 15th).
  • Scheduling is now available on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation. For more information or assistance, follow the step-by-step instructions or contact ICS Corrections (888) 646-9437.
  • Morning session will be 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., afternoon session will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and holidays.   
  • The number of visitors allowed in the visiting room will be limited to allow for social distancing.
  • Each AIC is allowed two visitors including children. Exceptions can be made by emailing the Correctional Rehabilitation Manager, Shawn Gibbs at shawn.m.gibbs@doc.oregon.gov and ask for extra visitors.
  • There will be no “stand-by” visits authorized.
  • Please note any required accommodations in the notes section when scheduling a visit.
  • AICs in quarantine or isolation will not participate in visiting.
  • Tables, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces will be disinfected between visitation groups; all areas, including lobbies and restrooms, will be cleaned following the completion of visiting each day.
  • Restrooms will be available for the visitors during their scheduled session and will be sanitized between uses.
  • Failure to comply with any regulation will result in the termination of the visit.​
​General visiting rules and guidelines for WCCF: 
  • Visitors should not schedule a visit if they are not an approved visitor.
  • You will not be allowed to visit if you are not on the AICs approved visitor list.
  • You will not be allowed to visit if you are wearing blue pants or top. Please defer to the dress code for visitors for approved attire. 
  • Visiting will occur on the regularly scheduled days. Visiting will only be open from 8:00 am to 11:00 am in the morning sessions, and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the afternoon sessions.
  • All visits must be pre-scheduled. Scheduling is now available on the ICS Corrections website and can be completed the same way as a video visitation. For more information or assistance, follow the step-by-step instructions or contact ICS Corrections (888) 646-9437.
