State of Oregon employees are vital to the fight against hunger in Marion and Polk counties. The Governor's State Employees Food Drive is the largest fund drive of the year for Marion-Polk Food Share. The issue of hunger is challenging, but by working together we can make sure that everyone has access to food when they need it.
Every month families in our community turn to Marion-Polk Food Share for emergency food. By giving monthly through payroll-deduction, you ensure that people in our community have the food they need to work, learn, and thrive all year long.
Giving monthly through payroll deductions also gives you the option to be included the Monthly Sustainer Circle, Marion-Polk Food Share’s monthly giving program. Giving monthly is the most effective and efficient way to help hungry families. As a Sustainer, your monthly gift will ensure families will always have a place to turn for a hearty meal when hard times hit.
It’s easy to join the Monthly Sustainer Circle. Complete the Payroll Deduction form, and be sure to fill out the bottom right-hand box. Then give the Payroll Deduction form to your agency or site food drive coordinator. They will send the top half of the form to payroll and the bottom to Marion-Polk Food Share to make sure your gift is counted as a Sustainer. That’s it! Your monthly gift will support families in need for an entire year.
