Sustained Giving

State of Oregon employees are vital to the fight against hunger throughout the state. For example, the Governor's State Employees Food Drive is the largest fund drive of the year for Marion Polk Food Share. The issue of hunger is challenging, but by working together we can make sure that everyone has access to food when they need it.

Every month, families across the state turn to regional food banks and their local partners for emergency food. By giving monthly through payroll-deduction or recurring, monthly donations you ensure that people in our community have the food they need to work, learn, and thrive all year long.

Sustained, monthly giving is often the most effective and efficient way to help hungry families as regional food banks can count on your support year-round, stocking their shelves with the best deals and dispatching their trucks to meet the need. Your monthly gift will ensure families will always have a place to turn for a hearty meal when hard times hit.

Sustained giving is easy! Complete your payroll-deduction request on workday, toggle your online donation to ‘monthly’ at your favorite regional food bank, or visit your regional food bank’s sustained giving page, like the Sustainer Circle page at Marion Polk Food Share.

Thank you State Employees, for giving everyone in our community access to food when they need it.
