The Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association​ was founded in 1992. The chapter serves as a forum for professionals and students to meet, share ideas, and discuss local issues. The local chapter is part of the international Urban & Regional Information Systems Association.

  • ​Northwest ESRI User Group ​- The Northwest ESRI User Group, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a forum for training, exchange of knowledge, techniques, and data among the users of ESRI software and related GIS products and services.
  • Cascadia Users of Geospatial Open Source (CUGOS) - CUGOS aims to facilitate general support and regional meetings for people who are interested in Open Source GIS software.  This is the official discussion group for CUGOS related questions and activities. 
  • Maptime Portland​, Maptime Corvallis​ - Our mission is to open the doors of cartographic possibility to anyone interested by creating a time and space for collaborative learning, exploration, and map creation using mapping tools and technologies.
