Board Update: Licensing system transition update
Published: April 29, 2026
We met with the licensing system vendor today and we’re almost there with launching the new system. Here’s the anticipated timeline based on today’s meeting.
On Thursday 4/30:
- The OD search will be available again
- System activation will be ready—the new GovCore system will automatically send you an email with instructions on how to activate your account in the new system. Please do that timely so that you’ll have access to the system.
On Monday 5/4:
- License renewals will be available and full system functionality will be available
- If you’re a May license renewal, there will be a grace period for license renewal where no late renewal fees will be assessed due to the delay in the system implementation. That information will be emailed next week. We’ll give you the grace period window and if you don’t renew in that timeline, a late fee will be assessed. Please monitor your email next week so that you can timely renew based on the grace period.
- You’ll want to log into your new account and verify that all of your contact information, practice information, CE and CPR information is correct. If there are any discrepancies, you’ll report them to Board staff.
- We will send out instructions on how to use the system for the various functions—license renewals, CPR reporting, CE reporting, printing invoices, requesting documents, etc.
We apologize for the delay in the system implementation. For those of you who have gone through this process in your practices, you know this happens with computer system implementation projects—they are never painless. We are confident that the new system will be worth this implementation stress.
