Board Update: Upcoming Licensing System Update

We have some exciting news to share with all of you. In December 2025, the Board approved contracting with GovCore USA Inc. for a new licensing system.

OBO staff have been working with the vendor to design the new staff workbench and portals for the new system. We're excited about the updated technology and believe that renewing  your license and updating your record will be easier than it has ever been. 

There isn't a specific roll out schedule yet, but the new system will be fully implemented by 4/30/26. In between now and then, staff will complete the system design and testing process. We will also be designing some how-to's and videos to guide you through the processes you'll be using in the new system. The new system will require account activation and we will be sharing information about that as well. 

This is just a heads up that change is coming and we promise to keep you informed on how the new system will work, what you'll need to do to use the new system and any updates and features that haven't been available in our previous systems.

We're excited to have a system that's more user-friendly and we're confident that you're going to like the new system. Please be sure to read the upcoming emails to ensure that you're setting yourself up for success with the new system.
