Board Update: Health Professional Wellness Tool

Published: January 26, 2026

The Oregon Board of Optometry is sharing an important warning after a licensee reported receiving a call from an individual claiming to be a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent.

  • Here’s a link to a new health professional wellness assessment tool. You’ll see that there are a number of modules (emotional well-being, financial well-being, physical health, practice climate, etc.) that allow you to self-assess your current status. The system doesn’t track or retain any of your response data. It askes for your state and healthcare profession. It’s meant to allow you to look at various aspects of your personal life and work environment to determine where you stand and challenges you may be facing. Each module has links to resources to help you overcome any challenges that you may have.

There is no fee for this tool. It was created by the Healthcare Regulatory Research Institute.
