Progress reports

The format and cadence of this report are currently being updated. The next report will cover the months of June through September and will be posted in November 2025.

Background

In March 2018, former Governor Kate Brown requested a monthly progress report on Child Welfare. In April 2019, the Child Welfare Oversight Board was created under Executive Order No. 19-03 to assist the Governor in making and implementing recommendations to improve Oregon's system for supporting safe children and thriving families. In 2020, these reports were revised to share progress on the Vision for Transformation and directives from the Governor and the Child Welfare Advisory Board.
