Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Foster Homes Licensing

The Office of Developmental Disabilities (ODDS) licenses and certifies adult and child foster homes. We manage provider applications. We monitor the compliance and quality of current providers. Before Jan. 1, 2026, Community Developmental Disability Programs (CDDPs) did these tasks. Learn more about this transition below.

Provider resources

Starting in 2026, we will use new processes to make work easier and faster. These changes will reduce paperwork so providers can spend more time with the people they care for.

To help you get ready, we made flyers that explain the changes and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) with step-by-step instructions.
