What is a Record Review?
A voluntary evaluation of your company’s internal controls and record-keeping practices related to IFTA and IRP reporting.
What a Record Review is Not
A record review is not an audit and does not result in assessments, fines, or penalties.
Who Should Attend?
Oregon-based carriers operating in multiple jurisdictions with:
- Apportioned registration (IRP).
- An IFTA license.
- Both IRP and IFTA credentials.
Benefits of Participating
- Receive recommendations to improve compliance and reporting practice.
- Learn how to strengthen record-keeping and support accurate tax and registration filings.
- Gain valuable education from experienced CCD staff.
- Receive a one-on-one question and answer session tailored to your reporting needs.
- Eligible carriers may be exempt from IFTA and IRP audits for six months following participation.
What You Need to Bring for Your Scheduled Record Review Appointment
For the review, you will be expected to:
- Provide your distance and fuel records.
- Discuss your current recordkeeping practices and internal controls.
- Bring specific records and information, determined in advance by the analyst assigned to conduct your records review.
Make and Appointment
There are only four slots per each one-hour block. With limited spots, these are first come, first served, so please register quickly if you are interested! A CCD tax analyst will reach out to all who register.
