Farm Certification in Oregon

Please see our Oregon Farm Certification Information (form 9984) for a certification checklist and regulated commodities requirements.
  • To get farm license plates for your vehicle from the Oregon DMV, you need to have your farm certification in good standing.
  • You must obtain your farm certification from CCD.
  • When you are ready to apply for farm certification, complete and submit a Farm Certification Application (form 9670) to CCD's Farm Unit.

Recertification

Many farms in Oregon do not need to recertify annually per OAR 735-048-0040. You must recertify annually if you have any farm-plated vehicle that meets all of the following criteria:
  • Over 26,000 pounds.
  • Four (4) or more axles.
  • Not a pickup.
To recertify annually, complete a Farm Certification Application (form 9670).
  • Check Recertification at the bottom of the page in the Application Is Being Submitted For section.
  • Submit your form by email, fax or mail to:

Online Registration for Farm Carriers

Oregon farm carriers can now apply for their certification and recertify through our secure Oregon Trucking Online (TOL) website.

Farm Carriers with an Established CCD Account

  • Log into your Oregon Trucking Online (TOL) account. You will see the option to submit your farm certification or recertification application in the main menu.
  • If you have an established account but do not know your CCD account number, call the Farm Certification Unit at 503-378-5203 to get your account number.
    Note: A Farm ID number is different from a CCD account number.
  • If you do not have a login password, complete our online Password Request Form.
    Note: The password request form must be signed by an owner, partner, LLC member/manager, corporate officer or someone possessing a Power of Attorney (POE) (form 9654). The POA must be on file or attached or it will be returned.
