Learn how to DMV2U

There are 30+ transactions on our online platform, dmv2u.oregon.gov, allowing customers to handle various DMV tasks online to avoid in-person visits. Common uses include renewing a driver's license, renewing vehicle registration and updating your address. You can also use the platform to file a collision report, schedule a driving test or report a vehicle sale. Every person who completes a transaction online frees up appointment times for other customers. These videos guide you through some of the more common actions you can take.

Due to limited resources, DMV2U is currently only available in English. Some Oregonians may use their browsers’ automatic translation feature and see DMV2U in other languages. We recommend doing this only for awareness and not to conduct official transactions. This is because we cannot guarantee the accuracy of those translations. We are committed to serving all Oregonians regardless of language barriers. Give us a call or visit an office if you need to get your business done and have limited English proficiency.
