File a Public Records Request

The Oregon State Board of Nursing website is the primary source for nurse and nursing assistant licensure status and other related OSBN information and data.  

Free Resources:

• Final public disciplinary actions taken during Board Meetings held during the past 12 months.  Copies of disciplinary documents are included for each Board Meeting.
• Public documents associated with final disciplinary actions taken against licensees (August 2010-present) are available online through the OSBN license verification system.  
  
• Board meeting minutes are available online and videos of the meetings are available on the OSBN YouTube channel.
  
• Active licensee statistics (Includes data by license type, county, APRN specialty)
• Aggregate data requests for external research.
  

 Additional Resources:

• Request a license verification for another state or country via Nursys. If the other state or country doesn't accept Nursys verifications, contact the OSBN by emailing your request to oregon.bn.info@osbn.oregon.gov.
  
• Mailing lists: If you need a mailing list of nurses or nursing assistants who have agreed to share their data, use our Mailing List Request Form.
  
• Fees shall be calculated according to the statewide public records requests fee schedule.
