Summer Reading

Oregon is a member of the national Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP). Public, volunteer, and tribal libraries in Oregon have the choice to use the CSLP theme, slogan, and resources to plan their local summer reading program, create their own summer reading program from scratch, or a combination of both. School libraries and other organizations in Oregon that wish to use the CSLP summer reading program theme, slogan, or resources must contact their local public library or State Library to do so. Public libraries that use state funds (the Ready to Read grant) to support their local summer reading program are required to use CSLP.

These materials are for planning and advocating for summer reading programs.
