Kristi Ivers

Position: Modernization Director

Kristi Ivers joined Oregon PERS in 2025. As the Modernization Director, Ivers provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for the Modernization Division, ensuring that technology, business processes, and organizational change initiatives are aligned to support the agency’s long-term vision and operational excellence.

Ivers has a master’s in business administration and has a career rooted in the technology sector, with extensive experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex technology projects in the private and public sectors.

Prior to joining PERS, Ivers served as the deputy chief information officer at the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, where she was responsible for information technology (IT) strategy, enterprise systems, and statewide technology governance.

She also held the position of IT director for the Office of Information Services at the Oregon Health Authority and Department of Human Services, overseeing a multimillion-dollar technology portfolio for mission-critical systems that support health and human services programs across the state.
