Oregon Pharmacists Prescribing and Administration of Vaccines:
Since 2000, Pharmacists in Oregon have played a vital role in increasing vaccine access and promoting public health by providing a wide range of ACIP- recommended and travel vaccines.
In
2023 HB 2486, the legislature authorized pharmacy technicians to administer vaccinations under the supervision, direction and control of a pharmacist.
