The goal is to provide quality information that helps customers make informed choices. Workforce development policy makers are a key Research customer group, particularly serving the labor market information needs of state and local Workforce Investment Boards.
Higher Education Coordinating Commission Research
The Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) is responsible for conducting data collection, analysis, reporting, and research on all sectors of postsecondary education in Oregon. The HECC data resources are used to inform policy and funding decisions, and to uphold important requirements for transparency and accountability in an effort to achieve Oregon’s state goals for higher education.

Office of Economic Analysis
The Office of Economic Analysis (OEA) provides objective forecasts of the state’s economy, revenue, population, corrections population, and Youth Authority population. These forecasts are used by the Governor, the Legislature, state agencies, and the public to achieve their goals. In addition to these four forecasts, OEA also manages the Oregon Highway Cost Allocation Study and produces the Oregon Population Survey.
