Location: Columbia County
Status:
Portland General Electric completed decommissioning in December 2004 (more information). On April 8, 2005, the Council found that the decommissioning of the Trojan Nuclear Plant is complete and that the site meets all criteria for unrestricted release. Unrestricted release means that the site can be safely used for any purpose, including residential use. The Council approved rule amendments regarding the site.
