Facility:
A wind energy facility with a peak generating capacity of up to 909 megawatts.
Location: Gilliam County and Morrow County
Status:
The Council has approved a site certificate. The facility is not yet under construction. North Hurlburt Wind LLC, South Hurlburt Wind LLC and Horseshoe Bend Wind LLC (the transferees) have submitted a Request for Amendment #1. The Department has issued a Proposed Order recommending that the Council approve the amendment request, subject to recommended site certificate revisions. If approved, the amendment would divide the Shepherds Flat Wind Farm into three separate facilities, each having its own site certificate: Shepherds Flat North, Shepherds Flat Central and Shepherds Flat South.
