| Rural Airport Applications |

There will be a new application process for entities applying for the rural airports portion of ConnectOregon III. The application submittal date for rural airports is now May 1, 2010. The Department of Aviation is developing an application specifically for those applying for rural airports funding. It is anticipated the rural airports application will be available no later than December 1, 2009.
A letter from the Oregon Department of Aviation explaining the new process is posted on the ConnectOregon Web site. Specific questions about the Rural Airports program should be directed to Chris Cummings, Department of Aviation, (503) 378-3168.
THIS CHANGE APPLIES ONLY TO THE RURAL AIRPORTS PORTION OF ConnectOregon III. THE APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE REGULAR (non-rural airport component) ConnectOregon III REMAINS NOVEMBER 20, 2009.
