The Oregon Freight Advisory Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, in Room 113 of the Local Government Center, 1201 Court Street NE, in Salem.
Agenda items include a discussion of the Jobs and Transportation Act (HB 2001), and business and freight transportation bottlenecks. Also included are updates on the Freight Master Plan, the Strategic Statewide Port Plan and the rail study.
OFAC advises the ODOT director and the Oregon Transportation Commission on issues, policies and programs that affect multimodal freight mobility in Oregon. This includes identifying high-priority freight mobility projects for consideration in transportation improvement programs.
