ODOT has promoted Area Manager Frank Reading to Region Manager in ODOT’s Southern Oregon region.
"I am very pleased to introduce Frank to Southern Oregon," said ODOT Highway Division Administrator Paul Mather, the former Region Manager. "Frank is well known and respected in Northeast Oregon. And his 21 years at ODOT have prepared him well for this important position."
Reading began his tenure at ODOT in 1990 on the geology crew in Roseburg; his hard work and collaborative demeanor helped him advance to senior engineer within eight years. He became Area Manager in La Grande in 2004.
Frank will begin his new job in Roseburg March 1. Interim Region Manager Mark Usselman will continue to fill the role until then.
"I want to personally thank Mark for his consistent leadership and his deep commitment to ODOT," said Mather. "Mark has provided excellent guidance during this interim period. I appreciate the sacrifices he has made."
