Oregon Department of Energy to Hold Public Meeting on Residential Energy Tax Credits Nov. 4

SALEM—Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) plans to hold a fourth public meeting on Residential Energy Tax Credit (RETC) rules and invites the public to attend on November 4 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at ODOE, 625 Marion St. NE in Salem.
At the meeting, ODOE representatives will present draft rule language for the definition of net cost, eligibility criteria for third party financing, and other proposed changes to the program.  Representatives plan to also address standards and efficiency requirements for wood and pellet stoves and appliances, and the process for new technologies.
