SALEM—The second public meeting of the state’s Energy Advisory Committee (EAC) will be held January 26 at the Local Government Center (1201 Court Street NE ) in Salem. The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in Room 113.
EAC was formed last year in response to increased interest in statewide energy issues. The committee held its first meeting on Dec. 16, 2010.
EAC is comprised of a cross section of Oregonians and includes organizations such as the Association of Oregon Counties; League of Oregon Cities; Bonneville Power Administration; Oregon Municipal Electric Utilities; Energy Trust of Oregon; Community Renewable Energy Association; Oregon Homebuilders and Oregon’s investor owned utilities.
