Energy Facility Siting Council to meet Feb. 3

SALEM — A regular meeting of Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council will take place on Friday, Feb. 3 in The Dalles. The public is invited to attend this meeting, to be held at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum (5000 Discovery Dr.).
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and include time for general public comments. Information items on the agenda include a presentation on the recently released Health Impact Assessment for Wind Energy Facilities, and updates on the proposed Baseline and Brush Canyon wind facilities. Under action items, the Council will be asked to initiate formal rulemaking.
