SALEM — The Small Scale Energy Loan Program Rulemaking Advisory Committee will meet on September 26 at the Oregon Department of Energy’s main office in Salem (625 Marion Street NE).
The meeting, which begins at 9 a.m., is open to the public. Participants may also call-in by dialing 1-877-771-7176 and entering access code 481079. However, call-in participants may only listen to the meeting.
At the meeting, the committee will review and discuss the proposed rules as part of the formal rulemaking process. An agenda for the meeting is at http://cms.oregon.gov/energy/LOANS/docs/Rulemaking/9.26.12Agenda.pdf. ODOE will hold a formal public rulemaking hearing on November 29.
The rules include processes for amendments, forbearance, loan delinquency and default management. They also increase transparency by clarifying project technical requirements and simplifying the fee structure.
The Small Scale Energy Loan Program makes long-term, fixed-rate loans to governments, tribes, schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses and individuals to finance Oregon projects that conserve energy or use renewable resources.
NOTE: This is a meeting of the SELP Rules Advisory Committee to review and provide input on the SELP administrative rules, not a meeting of the SELP Advisory Committee, which provides recommendations on loan applications and other program areas.
To request an interpreter for the hearing-impaired or for other accommodations, please contact Rosa Carbaugh at 503-934-4010 or via fax at 503-934-4006. TTY users should call the Oregon Relay Service at 711.
