SALEM — A regular meeting of Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council will take place on May 10-11 in Hermiston. The public is invited to attend this meeting, to be held at the Oxford Suites (1050 N. First St.).
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday and include time for general public comments. Thursday’s agenda also includes: An informational review of the Draft Proposed Order for the proposed Carty Generating Station near Boardman; and an opportunity for the public to comment on the Proposed Order on Amendment #2 (extension of construction timeline) for the Helix Wind Power Facility.
Friday’s agenda begins at 9 a.m. with a Council decision on whether or not to extend the construction timeline (Amendment #1) for the Golden Hills Wind Project near the City of Wasco. Following that agenda item will be a hearing officer report and recommendation for Council action on rule amendments.
