The annual Governor's State Employees Food Drive is the Oregon Food Bank Network's largest food and fund drive. Since the food drive was started in 1982, it has raised more than 51-million pounds of food. State employees raise food and funds in a number of creative ways, from book sales, to concerts, to basketball tournaments. In 2008, state employees raised a record-breaking 4.2-million pounds of food.
