Chapter 3: Participant Enrollment and Eligibility |

This series of trainings provides an overview of Child Enrollment Form (CEF) requirements, the details on the who, what, when, why, how, and where of Confidential Income Statements (CIS), how to determine eligibility through review of eligibility documentation, and completing written procedures for the CEF and CIS.

Chapter 4: The One Month Enrollment Roster

For Child Care Centers, Head Starts with Community Slot Children, Adult Day Cares, and Outside School Hours Child Care Centers only
This series of trainings reviews the percentage reimbursement method to determine a sponsor’s unique reimbursement rate using the One Month Enrollment Roster (OMER) and some common errors. The last training in this series covers how to create a written procedure for creating an OMER using the ODE CNP procedure template.

Chapter 5: Attendance and Meal Count

Chapter 6: Meal Reimbursement Claim

This series of trainings covers claim submissions, including how to prepare for a monthly claim with documentation reviews, submitting claims on CNPweb, and how to develop a written procedure using the ODE CNP procedure template.

Chapter 7: Financial Management of the CACFP

Chapter 9: Meal Pattern Requirements |

This series of trainings covers the CACFP Meal Pattern requirements. The Crediting videos cover each component in detail and the Meeting Meal Accommodation Requirements covers required accommodations for all Child Nutrition Program sponsors.
Serving Traditional Foods training will only apply to sponsors who serve traditional foods.

Chapter 10: Meal Service and Menu Records

This series of trainings covers the meal service and menu record requirements for CACFP, including different meal service styles, how to develop menus, required supporting documentation, how to create standardized recipes, and how to create a menu procedure using the ODE CNP developed template.

Chapter 11: Infant Meal Pattern

This series of trainings covers the infant meal pattern requirements, including daily recordkeeping requirements and how to claim infant meals.

Chapter 12: Civil Rights

This civil rights training is a review of the USDA Civil Rights requirements for Child Nutrition Programs. All sponsors of Child Nutrition Programs must comply with the Federal Civil Rights program as part of their agreement with the Oregon Department of Education.
The racial and ethnic data collection video covers information required for CACFP and SFSP sponsors only.

Chapter 14: Multi-Site Sponsors

The two trainings cover general requirements for multi-site sponsors, including a definition of a multi-site sponsor and a detailed look at site monitoring requirements for multi-site sponsors.

Chapter 16: At-Risk Afterschool

This series covers requirements related to CACFP At-Risk Afterschool sites, including eligibility for the Program, how to operate CACFP at these sites, and some common findings.

Chapter 17: Emergency Shelters

The trainings in this chapter covers CACFP requirements for emergency shelters, including program eligibility, participant eligibility, reimbursements, and recordkeeping requirements.

Chapter 18: Head Start Programs

For sponsors with Head Start sites only.
This training covers some of the unique requirements for Head Start organizations operating the CACFP. This training should not be taken as a stand alone as the regulations that are shared among other CACFP sponsor types are covered in other CACFP Center Policy and Procedure Manual trainings.

Chapter 19: For-Profit Programs

For sponsors who are for-profit only.
For-profit sponsors will need to view the training related to the site types they are operating. There is one training for for-profit sponsors with child care centers and outside school hours child care sites and one for for-profit sponsors with adult day care sites.

Chapter 20: Outside School Hours Care Centers

For sponsors with Outside School Hours Care Center sites only.
This training provides an overview of program eligibility and requirements for Outside School Hours Care Centers (OSHCC). Topics include eligible sponsors and sites, School Food Authorities (SFAs), licensing and health and safety requirements, participant eligibility, the One Month Enrollment Roster (OMER), reimbursable meals, and record keeping requirements.

Chapter 21: Adult Day Care Programs

The two trainings in this chapter covers eligibility and recordkeeping requirements specific to Adult Day Care programs and meal pattern requirements for the Adult meal pattern only.

Chapter 22: Pricing Programs

Overview of what programs qualify as a Pricing Program and the additional responsibilities required of these sponsors.

Chapter 23: Single Audit Requirements

This training covers the single audit requirements for non-profit organizations who expend at least $1,000,000 in federal funds annually.

Chapter 24: Administrative Reviews and Investigations

The trainings in this chapter covers an overview of the administrative review process, how ODE CNP handles investigations, findings, adverse actions, and corrective actions. It also covers tips and best practices for preparing for a CACFP administrative review. |
