Vocational Rehabilitation seeks input on the proposed changes to Oregon Administrative Rules 582:

 

  • Division 1 Definitions
  • Division 72 Supported employment
  • Division 100 Order of Selection
  • Division 115 Services to Persons of any age receiving subminimum wages
  • Division 190 Employer Services and Training
The comment period begins Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 and ends on Oct. 15, 2019.

Purpose/Rationale: Purpose and rationale: Vocational Rehabilitation is updating OAR 582 to align with requirements of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), enacted July 22, 2014 (Public Law No. 113-128). The rules match definitions and requirements in the Rehabilitation Act, as amended, and clarify processes for vocational rehabilitation service.
