Resources for Well Constructors

Licensed water supply and monitoring well constructors who are properly trained are a valuable resource in the state of Oregon. They are tasked with correctly locating and constructing wells in a manner that prevents commingling of aquifers, loss of artesian pressure, and waste. Well constructors are professionally trained to construct wells that meet Oregon’s well construction standards and are expected to obtain continuing education credits in order to renew their license every two years.

For anyone interested in becoming a licensed well constructor, please click the link for Licensing Exam information. Here you will find exam dates, study materials, and both water supply and monitoring well related rules and statutes.

This page is meant to be a central repository for information and content most frequently accessed by licensed well constructors. If there is information that you access regularly and feel that it would be helpful to have here, please contact the Well Construction and Compliance Section.
