Preparing for an Emergency
While our state has many services that help guard the safety of Oregonians and assist in emergencies, there are often more needs during a disaster than these services can address. It is wise for each of us to consider how we will survive if public services aren't available to assist us during an earthquake, flood or other emergency.
Emergency planning is especially important for those of us who experience disabilities. Please take time to develop support mechanisms in case a disaster strikes. Do you have a plan or have you talked to someone who can help you develop a good plan?
