Community-Based Care Facility Licensing

Community-Based Care settings include Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Residential Care Facilities (RCFs) and Memory Care Communities. 

These facilities offer individualized services in home-like settings to older adults, people with disabilities and individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

Licensing

Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 411, Division 54 define general licensing standards (411-054-0010) and requirements for new construction or initial licensure (411-054-0012).

Abuse reporting

Everyone has a duty to ensure resident protection and abuse prevention is a top priority. Reporting incidents of abuse or suspected abuse is a primary responsibility. Providers and their staff members must follow and are accountable for this responsibility at all times.
