Frances Online and Automated Phone Outage July 18

Frances Online and our automated phone lines for Unemployment Insurance, Paid Leave Oregon, and Contributions and Recovery will be unavailable from 6 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 18.   


The following automated phone lines will be closed during this period: 

  • Unemployment Insurance Weekly Claim Line – 800-982-8920

  • Unemployment Insurance Initial Claim Line – 877-File-4-UI (877-345-3484)

  • Paid Leave Intermittent Claim Line – 833-854-1122

  • The employer No Payroll Report Line – 503-378-3981

How holidays can affect your benefits 

State agencies like the Oregon Employment Department and banks are closed on state and federal holidays. WorkSource Oregon centers will also be closed, and staff won’t answer phone calls. This usually delays claim processing and benefit payments by one business day.  

Frances Online is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can apply for benefits, file claims, answer questionnaires, and send us messages on holidays and weekends.  

We will resume processing claims on the next business day. Due dates apply to the day you must complete the requirement, not the day we process it.  

To avoid delays: 
  • Regularly check Frances Online for updates and important letters.  
  • If you need to contact us, send a message while logged into Frances Online.  

 
 

Unemployment Insurance 

Use Frances Online to apply for benefits, file a weekly claim, or send a message.  

Call the automated Weekly Claim Line at 800-982-8920 to file a weekly claim. You can start your initial application over the phone by calling 877-File-4-UI (877-345-3484). You will need to call back during our regular hours to complete your application.

Paid Leave Oregon 

Use Frances Online to apply for benefits, upload your verification documents, file an intermittent weekly claim, or send a message. If you don’t have a Frances Online account, use Contact Us to send us a message.

If you are taking intermittent leave and want to file your weekly claim over the phone, you can use our automated system at 833-854-1122.

Employers can use Frances Online to complete requests, file, pay, and amend payroll reports, or send a message. If you do not have a Frances Online account, use Contact Us to send us a message.
