​​​​​​​In 2022, Oregon’s legislature passed SB 1536 appropriating $10,000,000 to the Oregon Department of Energy to award gr​​ants to eligible entities for the purpose of providing financial assistance for the purchase and installation of heat pumps and related upgrades.

13 Feb 2023ODOE Submits Final Rules for Community Heat Pump Deployment Program

​The Oregon Department of Energy submitted final rules to the Secretary of State on February 13, 2023, to establish a Community Heat Pump Deployment Program. The permanent rules are effective as of February 13, 2023. This concludes the formal rulemaking process, which included a public hearing on January 5, 2023, and a public comment period which closed on January 6, 2023.

The public comment period will close on January 6, 2023, at 5 p.m. Comments received after this date will not be considered in the rulemaking process.
