Community meetings are an opportunity for the Director of the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), along with the agency’s Executive Leadership Team, to present department and program updates to community members. The meetings include a question-and-answer period.

Together We Learn: Human Services in the Oregon Legislature

These sessions walked through how human services policy and budget decisions are developed, what happens before and during legislative session, how public testimony and participation work, where Tribal consultation and community engagement fit, how to follow bills, budgets, and hearings through the Oregon Legislative Information System (OLIS), and what happens after bills are passed.
