YEHP provides technical assistance and resources to support grant recipients and community partners.

Grantee audits

YEHP conducts audits of each grantee. These audits are done to ensure program goals are met and to provide technical assistance.

  • Audits will consist of a site visit by YEHP staff and a focus group of current or former youth participants led by the Statewide Youth Action Board.
  • Audits are an opportunity for YEHP staff to connect one-on-one with program staff to better support youth across the state.

YEHP holds monthly support meetings for grantees and semi-annual meetings by program type. To receive information about these meetings or to request additional support, email YEHP

YEHP funding

Oregon law (ORS 417.799, ORS 417.802 and ORS 417.803) authorizes the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) to award grants and contracts to organizations serving youth who are experiencing homelessness. YEHP oversees this grant funding. YEHP was founded in 2011 and is currently part of ODHS Self-Sufficiency Programs.
